BNY Mellon Investment Adviser, Inc. announced today that the three incumbent Board nominees for BNY Mellon Municipal Bond Infrastructure Fund, Inc. (“DMB”) were re-elected and will continue to steward the Fund, according to certified voting results of the Fund’s annual stockholders meeting held on August 27, 2026.
The certified results reflect strong stockholder turnout at the Fund’s annual stockholder meeting. The Fund’s incumbent Board nominees received more stockholder votes than, and defeated, the dissident nominee, indicating stockholder support for continued stewardship from the Fund’s current Board of Directors.
Additionally, stockholders of the Fund also decisively voted against a proposal to amend the Fund’s charter in order to declassify the Fund’s Board of Directors. The Board included this proposal on the Fund’s proxy statement in response to a non-binding proposal submitted by a dissident stockholder last year.
