Dubai, UAE, Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Dubai, UAE, September 8 2026 – CineNow, the BVI-based investment platform seeking to transform Indian entertainment intellectual property into a structured alternative asset class, has appointed Nikita Sachdev, Founder and CEO of Luna PR, as Advisor, and Hamed Faqirzai, Vice President of Global Development at Luna PR, as Director of Tokenization & Capital Markets.
The appointments come as CineNow nears its target $150 million Secured Participation Fund, with a strategy spanning more than 30 Indian films across Hindi and regional-language productions. Rather than relying on the performance of individual films, CineNow’s model is built around acquiring or securing IP rights across a diversified slate and monetizing them through theatrical, OTT, satellite, music and ancillary channels.
CineNow ultimately intends to introduce tokenization as an additional capital layer for its entertainment IP. The company is targeting Q4 2027 for the launch of its tokenization proposition, subject to the final legal, regulatory and technology structure and applicable approvals.
The expansion comes as tokenization increasingly moves beyond cryptocurrencies into funds, private markets and real-world assets, creating new infrastructure for how traditionally illiquid assets can be owned, transferred and financed.
Building the Capital Markets Layer
Faqirzai will serve as CineNow’s primary spokesperson on tokenization and capital markets, while taking an operating role in developing its tokenization strategy, institutional ecosystem, technology partnerships and global market positioning.
As Vice President of Global Development at Luna PR, Faqirzai works across digital assets, fintech, token ecosystems and international market development. He has advised founders, funds and institutions on capital formation, token launches, market entry and ecosystem expansion, has supported fundraising initiatives exceeding $100 million in the past year and has since become a regular speaker on institutional digital assets and market infrastructure at major international conferences.
